Registration, Hotel & Travel

In order to attend the APD Kickoff meeting, please register to reserve a conference badge and/or hotel reservation by Monday, December 30, 2019. Review the information provided below prior to beginning the registration process.

Kickoff Location:

The Auto Physical Damage Kickoff will be held at the Farmer & The Seahorse conference center, located at 10996 Torreyana Rd, Suite 240, San Diego, CA 92121. Hotel rooms are available for out of town attendees at the nearby Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines.

Step 1:

Make your air travel arrangements. You are responsible for booking your own flights to San Diego through Mitchell’s corporate travel provider for US and Canada. It is recommended that you book your air travel prior to booking your hotel reservations.

Register for the meeting and request a hotel room. Please register by Monday, December 30, 2019.

Before making your hotel and travel arrangements, please double check for your pre-approved arrival and departure times. If you are unsure about your approved arrival and departure dates, please consult your manager.

Recommended arrival times are as follows:

The meeting will kick off with lunch on Monday, January 27, 2020. All out of town attendees should plan to arrive no later than 11:00 am on Monday, January 27 in order to get to the meeting on time. If flights do not accommodate an AM arrival, you may request hotel accommodations for the evening of Sunday, January 26, 2020. San Diego-based employees should plan to drive to the meeting on Monday, January 27 for the 12:00 pm start time. All attendees should plan to depart after lunch on Tuesday, January 28. Sessions will end no later than 12:30 pm.

Please Note: Tom Martin’s Support & Service Team and Brian Moss’s Sales Team will stay at Farmer & The Seahorse to continue their meeting on Tuesday, January 28th until 5:00 pm.

Ground Transportation & Parking

The Farmer & The Seahorse is located approximately 17 miles (25 minutes) from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). If you need a taxi, follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. A Transportation Coordinator will place you with the first available taxi—unless you specify a particular taxicab company. Additionally, ridesharing options including Lyft and Uber are available for airport pick-ups and drop-offs as well.

Complimentary self-parking at the Farmer & The Seahorse is available. Daytime attendees who plan to drive to the meeting should allow themselves additional time to ensure an on time arrival for all sessions. Transportation will be provided to and from the Hilton Torrey Pines for hotel guests as well.
