Mike Fiato
Mike Fiato is the Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer for Global Retail Markets U.S. Claims at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
He is responsible for running the GRM U.S. Claims organization, including oversight of nearly 9,000 employees across the Personal Lines Auto Physical Damage, Property and Casualty lines of business. Additionally, he oversees small commercial business insurance and the Claims functional support teams.
Mike joined Liberty Mutual in April of 2017 and is based in Boston. Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Mike spent over 25 years at Progressive Insurance where his last role was Claims General Manager.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from State University of New York College at Brockport, his M.S. in Labor & Industrial Relations from University of Rhode Island, and his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School.

Rebecca Morgan
Rebecca Morgan is Senior Director of Product Management for Mitchell’s Casualty Solutions Group, where her teams are responsible for both medical bill review and claims reporting software. With more than 20 years of experience in software engineering in the workers’ compensation industry, Rebecca is on the front lines in the industry-wide effort to automate claims. In this session, inspired by technical trends across the enterprise, Rebecca will explore several strategies to consider implementing automation in claims processes.
